Five Minute Motivation

You can't fail.

Episode Summary

Hosts Patrick Giarelli and Brian Donovan have 5 minutes to take a quote that you may have seen in your everyday life on social media accounts and the walls of your guidance counselor's office, and hit you with some wisdom and insight that you may not have considered before. You may hear some F*Bombs and we're not always appropriate, but Five Minute Motivation is all about making the world a better place by asking listeners to pay attention, work hard, and be kind to others.

Episode Notes

This episode's quote:

If you don’t try at anything, you can’t fail. It takes backbone to lead the life you want.

Patrick talks about what having a backbone means in regards to making changes in your life, risking failure, and doing the things you might not enjoy doing in order to make positive changes.

Brian discusses the failure aspect of the quote, and how avoiding the risk of failure won't lead to personal gain, but embracing failure and actually seeking it may lead to self improvement.

At the end of this episode, Patrick mentions that he would probably fail if he tried to draw a dog, but could eventually learn to do it well.  Challenge accepted, Pat!  Check out his first attempt here.

Thanks for listening...see you in 5 minutes!
